75 things to do before you die – 6 – Play in the WSOP

6.  Play in the World Series of Poker

Obviously, not everyone would be interested in partaking in the WSOP, but I would love it.  I’m a good poker player, not a great poker player.  I’ve won 3 tournaments around the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex and tied for first once.  To me, poker is one of my favorite things to do.  I love trying to read, bluff, ad re-read people.  Everything about the game entertains me.

Anyway, one of my buddies Ryan Milisits recentely entered the Main Event.  He is a much much much better poker player than I am, but I still think it would be fun to just go and soak in the atmosphere.  It must be a pretty incredible event.  One day, I hope to enter the WSOP and see how lucky I can get against the rest of the world.

forrest griffin WSOPboth Forrest Griffin and Chuck Liddell were at day one of the World Series of Poker.

This is pretty cool stuff! I really like Both Forrest Griffin and Chuck liddell, they are honestly my two favorite fighters in the UFC.  I know Chuck Liddell went out pretty early, im still looking at what happened to Forrest.

Forrest Griffin won a decision fight at UFC 86 on saturday night.  This win gave Forrest the Belt for the light heavyweight class.

Forrest is known for his charm, fun, and ability to bleed.  He was also the original winner of the ultimate fighter TV series.  I’ve always been a fan.  Cant wait to see what he does next!!
