Anyone who follows professional football knows about the Dallas Cowboys and Terrell Owens. For the last three years, ESPN has been baiting the historically troubled Wide Receiver into causing disarray within the Cowboys Organization. The World Wide Leader in Sports has been having Ed Werder, the reporter who became famous for chronicling the fallout between Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson over a decade ago, dig up as much dirt as possible on Americas Team. In fact, T.O. has stopped responding to any question Ed Werder asks. In every conference since October, whenever Werder has asked Owens a question, his only response has been, “Next Question.”
In the post game conference after the Cowboys demolished the Giants during a crucial Sunday night game, Owens disgust of Ed Werder culminated while being interviewed by NBC’s Kremer.
T.O.: “I think that it was a lack of professionalism on Ed Werder’s behalf just to come up with some of that stuff. Honestly, you know, I don’t know where none of this stuff came from.”
Immediately after Terrell said those amazing words, Romo, Witten, and everyone else on screen began smiling like school children. If the Team is having issues, they are doing a great job of covering it up. The three famous players doing a post game interview together showed the type of unity that must have Ed Werder very nervous about his future as a reporter in Dallas.

Apparently Brett Favre’s little phone call down to the Dallas Cowboys star Quarterback Tony Romo payed off. The Cowboys leader is doing everything in his power to get ready for Sunday’s game vs. the St. Louis Rams. I personally think this is a horrible idea. The Rams are one of the weaker teams in the NFL. If Romo really wants to play, at least wait a week and let the finger heal a little bit. I think Brad Johnson is capable of leading our offense against this team - at least for a week.
But like all kids, whenever we get a new toy we immediately want to go out and play with it. I am pretty sure that’s how Romo feels about his new star wide-receiver Roy Williams. Hell, if I were him, I’d want to come out and see what I could do with this explosive offense as well. The problem is, it just isn’t a good idea. Long term, we need a healthy Tony Romo - especially with the difficult games against the NFC East looming.

::UPDATE:: According to Dallas Morning News’ Calvin Watkins, Tony Romo has officially confirmed to the coaching staff that he is ready to play against the Rams this sunday.

Roy Williams (Wide receiver from Detroit Lions) is a Dallas Cowboy.
Roy Williams was traded to the Dallas Cowboys right before the Trade Deadline at 4:00 PM eastern time on October 14th
Roy Williams will work out a long term deal with the cowboys and the Lions will receive a 2nd round pick in each of the next two drafts. The cowboys are giving up a first round pick - a third round pick - and a sixth round pick. They will also receive a seventh round pick in the trade.
This isnt too terrible as Dallas is getting an additional free pick from Adam Jones getting suspended again. So we’re really only giving up a little for one of the best receivers in the league.
This is great news for a team that has had nothing but bad news since saturday.
It will be interesting to see how T.O. responds to having another big play receiver.

So, Jerry Jones (Owner of the Dallas Cowboys) hires this security detail to follow Adam Jones and make sure he doesn’t do anything Pac-Man Jones-ish. What does Jones do? He gets into a fight with his own security detail.
This sucks. Now the already tarnished Cowboys name has been drug down even further.. and this jackass may never get to play in the NFL ever again.
I don’t know what is going to happen, but if anything does happen to Adam Jones, he deserves it. I jumped on the band wagon as soon as he arrived. I thought that he’d finally get his act together and be a good player and teammate. I was completely wrong. I am embarrassed that the city and team have to deal with this distraction.

adminSports Cowboys, Episode 5, Finale, hard knocks
Well, the 5th and final episode of HBO’s Hard Knocks has come and gone. I’m sad to see the series end so quickly, but I’m totally stoked about seeing the Cowboys start the regular season against the Cleveland Browns this Sunday. With Derek Anderson having (Troy) concussion syndrome, I think this game will be an easy lock for Dallas.
I was really glad to see the concentration stay on the rookies in the final episode. The series could have easily turned to an outlook of the stars and their Super Bowl aspirations. I particularly liked the focus on Daniel Amendola. He quickly became a fan favorite during the short run of the show. I was very glad to seem him pass up other possibilities for the opportunity to stay in Texas. I really think he will have a great opportunity to actually make the team with all the damage to the Cowboys’ receiving corps.
I still absolutely hate Martelus Bennett.. this guy is still a douche with no respect for authority. I think his attitude is a large distraction and not worth the drama that we have.
I am also very glad that Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones got fully reinstated and I wish him the best. It was cool to see him and Deion Sanders fishing. For those of you that don’t live in Dallas, Deion lives in a freaking compound like a MoFo. His house is absolutely ridiculous. The lake that they showed during the show is in Deions BACKYARD.
Overall, I personally think the series was short but incredible. I am totally looking forward to the regular season for the Cowboys and the rest of football. The Cowboys are Super Bowl or bust this year. They better do something incredible.

You start with this formula of Rookie Watching: One guaranteed, One Likely, One Intriguing and One Unlikely. then in the last episode they abadoned the storyline that will have an impact on the season in Bennett. I wonder if he’s fed up with their coverae of him, or he’s just such an ass that they couldn’t bear it any longer
Saturday, December 20th, mark it down because if Ray Lewis is looking to avenge the dismissal of little bro it could come in what may be a game of little importance to the Ravens

BREAKING:: ESPN has reported that PACMAN jones has been reinstated by commissioner Goodell for the upcoming season for the Dallas Cowboys. I will post more when I have more.
Adam Jones is expected to play in the first game of the Regular season for the Dallas Cowboys.
He was suspended for the entire 2007 season for his off the field antics. After being traded to the Cowboys in the off-season, Jones has been working very hard with mentors Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin to rehabilitate his career and reputation.
From Adam Jones,
“It feels good man, you know, to get a second chance and I just have to take advantage of it…” He continued, ”First and foremost, I don’t want to let myself down, definitely my little girl down. I’m thankful for Jerry [Jones], the fans in Dallas and my teammates for believing in me. I need to keep doing what I’ve been doing to get reinstated, staying with myself and my teammates and staying away from those knuckleheads and just stay focused.”
This could be fantastic for the cowboys secondary and could help push the Dallas Cowboys to the next level. They could win some playoff games and maybe actually get to the Super Bowl.

Hard Knocks - Dallas Cowboys - Episode 4
The 4th episode of Hard Knocks just finished airing on HBO. I must say that the series has totally caught stride. After a somewhat disappointing second episode, I think the producers caught grasp of what the viewers wanted and are giving it to them. As I’ve said before, the concentration on the younger players, draft picks, and unsigned free agents is amazing. I love the fact that we are gaining access to how the cuts and evaluations are really being made.
On top of that, the focus on the new Jerry Jones stadium is freaking amazing. That stadium is one of the most amazing pieces of modern architecture in history. I for one cannot wait to attend my first cowboys game when the stadium opens. It is undoubtedly going to be an epic experience.

—Wade Phillips showed why he’s a player’s coach: Concern for the player 1st, Admonition of duty 2nd, and Fine 3rd
—Jason Garrett showed why he’s being groomed for Head Coach, backbone and knowledge. A solidly lead meeting with the players.
—What Houston game did Hard Knocks film? Seriously, I must’ve been watching a different game (or that’s the worst game cast I’ve ever seen)
—Andre Gurode and Tank Johnson could set up their own comedy tour once they’re done with football. Gurode is goofy looking so it makes his jokes funnier and Tank is just a very funny guy
—Martellus Bennett, I don’t think I’ve ever rooted for a Cowboys player to fail, but he’s getting me there
—Bobby Carpenter being treated like a bitch? I’d pay for HBO year round if I got to see that once a week

Well, Episode 3 of Hard Knocks aired last night on HBO. I must say that it was much better than the previous installment. I liked seeing the ‘humor’ the players had in episode 2, but I’m glad HBO got back on track in showing the more important aspects of football. IE training camp & player development. As a huge Cowboys fan, I like seeing and getting to know the rookies and new players on an intimate level. It honestly makes me root for a few players, especially the wide receivers.
While we all know it’s the T.O. show, I really like seeing the leadership role he has taken on, he really does seem happy to be a Dallas Cowboy. Same with Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones.
Now we just need to get it together and start winning some games. I know it’s preseason, but I hope the Cowboys can beat the hell out of the houston texans.
Brief Summary:
-Nice to see the Coaches pissed about San Diego. The week before the coaches seemed satisfied
-Nice to get a real take on Pacman
-Martellus Bennett is making $1M guaranteed, and he’s not going to listen to a coach telling him to tuck in his shirt?
-Martellus Bennett got picked in the second round and he’s refering to himself as one of the top players in the nation Wrong.
-One of the top propspects in 2008.
-sucks miles austin got hurt.

Honestly, I didnt enjoy this episode nearly as much as I liked Episode 1. It just didnt flow as well. I did enjoy the fact that they concentrated more on the players near the bottom of the pack. It is nice to see the stress that some of the rookies are going through.. I also liked their concentration on Felix Jones and the Phillips Family.
I really think that the next episode should be a lot better. We will get to see how the team reacts to the situations that have been coming up. Ill Post a better update here when I have more time

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been waiting for HBO’s Hard Knocks pretty much since football season ended. I love football, I watch it whenever it’s on. Hard Knocks finally gave my the fix i’ve needed. Not only is it a great series from HBO, it’s a great Cowboys show. Being from Dallas, I follow every franchise our city has, but the Cowboys are the pinnacle of my fandom. I honestly havent missed a game in years.
This show is providing some great insight into how training camp is going. It is also letting me see more of the personalities of the players. On the field, you dont really get to see how people really interact with one another. Further, the media portrays these athletes as villains or heroes. We dont get to see the people they really are. I was really pleased with the first episode of Hard Knocks and I cant wait until Wednesday for my next dose.

Here are some comments a friend of mine made about the episode:
First 10 minutes, appallingly bad. Looked like it was going to be the Jerry Jones show. I’d be willing to bet he set up that call with Terry Glenn’s agent before the actual call.
Remaining 50 minutes outstanding.
—Didn’t know Tank was such a cut up, he seems like a really fun guy
—Like the idea that Wade is the Good Cop Head Coach and the Garretts are the hard asses
—Interesting to see draft say conversation re: Mendenhall vs Jones brief synopsis. Appparently they believe Marion is an everydown back for sure
—Following Martellus Bennett was an interesting call, but you have to like guys who grew up as Cowboys fans getting selected by us
—Witten and Romo seem like genuine friends, we’ve said this before, nice to see it reaffirmed
—Dave Campo. Glad to see him back. Glad he’s not head coach.
—Who the hell are all those white guys they showed in the ice tubs. No seriously, we have 2 white guys starting on the O line, and it wasn’t either of them. I’m guessing Practice squad OL guys.
—Roy Williams, I am THE Roy Williams homer, so I will stand mute on this one, but I love the ideas I’ve heard, like inflating trade value, build a psychological fear in other teams (as though they are watching Hard Knocks and saying uh oh Roy is getting back to form!)
—T.O.’s T-Shirts. Anybody think he should’ve made a specific shirt for the Player formerly known as Pacman (PFKPac) that says: iRain on the front, then on the back says: But leave the money on the floor, Hoes.
—If we fall out this year, the ominous warning sign is PFKPac holding an empty bucket grinning and saying “Wekum to the Dallas Cowboy”
—Anybody terrified about Crayton’s mindset. Talking about the drop he said “It’s all I’ve been thinking about, it’s what drives me” That’s fine for the year, but how wound up is he gonna be in the playoffs?
