Everyscape – goes where google wont?

have you heard of everyscapeMe either. until today.  This Massachusetts based start up plans to take google maps to an entire new level.  They intend to allow new users to go inside shops and restaurants.  This amazing new feat will be a great tool for tourists, home buyers, and curious individuals.

The CEO of Everscape is quoted as saying, “While Google has focused their technology on building a better map, we wanted to do more and replicate the experience of actually being somewhere…”

I personally think this could be an amazing feature. I wouldnt be surprised if google or … microsoft.. purchased this company and took the idea to new heights.  I find myself using google maps more and more daily.  I’m positive that this company will be bought up pretty quickly.  I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Heres some more news about ever scape

Wall E and Wanted Kill the box office

This weekend was pretty uneventful for me.. but luckily, I was able to enjoy to films this weekend. wall*e and wanted.  I am not surprised at all that both movies earned over 50 million this weekend.  Both are spectacular in their own way.  wall-e, although a children’s film, focuses on many important environmental, and political issues that are in the news today.  These issues include, oppression, the environment, and obesity.  All placed in a futuristic backdrop and an underlying story of love and friendship.  I was expecting a decent movie from pixar.  This was much more than I could have hoped for.  Although it is hard to rate, in order, the pixar movies.  This one is definitely in the top 3.

On to wanted.  This movie kicks ass.  It is totally a man’s movie that combines office space, fight club, and the matrix, into an adrenaline pumping train ride.  I was totally engrossed in this movie from the second it started.  The soundtrack is also phenomenal.  NIN launches the movie with ‘every day is exactly the same’ and pushes the beginning tempo of wanted.

I truly suggest seeing both movies ASAP.  and the Dark Knight is coming out in like 2 weeks!
