In possibly the most unexpected news… EVER… Information was leaked saying that Ghostbusters 3 is in development. This is the most absurd awesome news I’ve heard in weeks. They are even saying that the original cast is going to be coming back! AND. The writers for NBC’s the office are writing the script!
It would be amazing if Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson reprised their roles. Hell, you could even bring back Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis… and slimer.
W00t.
I’m sure this development stems from the popularity the upcoming Ghostbusters Video Game has been receiving on the web.
Officially, Columbia Pictures (owned by Sony) declined to comment. But reliable sources have confirmed the show is in development.
There have been rumors circulating for almost twenty years now. Both Ghostbusters movies were wildy popular. In fact, the first Ghostbusters was Sony’s most profitable movie until Will Smith’s Men in Black took it’s place.

Harry Potter and the Half Blooded Prince has officially Been Delay until july 17th. This really sucks. I’m sure this is purely because the Two Summer Harry Potter films have made almost as much as the Three Released in the winter. This is very disappointing. I was Honestly excited about seeing Voldemort crashing theaters this winter.

I honestly think I have the coolest job on the planet. It’s a small ‘group think’ type of environment. I get to play darts and basketball, wear shorts, cut out a little early, and skip work all together for beer and movies. Today is that day. In honor of my belated birthday, my bosses are taking me and my co-workers out for lunch, booze, and pineapple express. Pretty freaking cool. I’m not sure how the movie is going to turn out, but im excited. I’ll give you an update and let you know how it went.

This weekend was pretty uneventful for me.. but luckily, I was able to enjoy to films this weekend. wall*e and wanted. I am not surprised at all that both movies earned over 50 million this weekend. Both are spectacular in their own way. wall-e, although a children’s film, focuses on many important environmental, and political issues that are in the news today. These issues include, oppression, the environment, and obesity. All placed in a futuristic backdrop and an underlying story of love and friendship. I was expecting a decent movie from pixar. This was much more than I could have hoped for. Although it is hard to rate, in order, the pixar movies. This one is definitely in the top 3.
On to wanted. This movie kicks ass. It is totally a man’s movie that combines office space, fight club, and the matrix, into an adrenaline pumping train ride. I was totally engrossed in this movie from the second it started. The soundtrack is also phenomenal. NIN launches the movie with ‘every day is exactly the same’ and pushes the beginning tempo of wanted.
I truly suggest seeing both movies ASAP. and the Dark Knight is coming out in like 2 weeks!
